Blackhead

Blackheads, also known as 'open' acne, are caused by excess oil, debris and dead skin cells building up in the hair follicles and becoming oxidised, resulting in a dark or black appearance. They are more common in people with oily skin and can be an early sign of mild to moderate acne.
